Geelong’s City Hall, a Renaissance Revival landmark on Gheringhap and Little Malop Streets, has stood since the mid-1850s. Its bluestone façade reflects gold rush ambitions.
For over 160 years, it has been the seat of local government, hosting council meetings, civic receptions, and community gatherings.
Today, City Hall remains both a working civic building and public venue, symbolising Geelong’s heritage while continuing as a central hub of leadership and community life.
