Tardigrades (also known as water bears), are fascinating micro-animals that can even survive in outer space!

Locally, they are one of the unsung heroes of Barwon Water’s recycled water system, helping clean up our water after it passes down the drain and into sewers.

Wade the Tardigrade is a friendly, larger than life puppet created by Georgie Rose and commissioned by Barwon Water, debuting exclusively for ROAM Geelong.

As night falls, join Wade and the community for a dazzling parade through Johnstone Park and the Arts & Cultural Precinct celebrating the hidden wonders that keep our water, and our city, flowing.
