High Altar is an inflatable, illuminated sound installation that will transform Johnstone Park into an immersive sonic and visual sanctuary.

Across the day, it evolves from a cinematic soundscape into a vibrant hub for community portraits, projection art, and experimental music.

Visitors are invited to take part in an evolving portrait series celebrating the people, pets, and natural surroundings of the ROAM Geelong.

As night falls, High Altar becomes a glowing beacon of light, projection and sound, blending ambient, electronic, and experimental performances with community-generated imagery to create a collective, shared atmosphere.
